The original thinking that is Wire—Sound was first kicked around in 1996 at the 10th Street Lounge in the East Village, New York City.
Ten years later, the notion gained momentum at Bar Columnas in Seville in 2006 and final burst into life in the Royal Oak in the Borough, London in 2008.
Over that time the thoughts and notions of the what and the who have been kicked into row Z, thrown back in, dribbled down the channels, whipped in from the corner and rifled into the back of the net. 1–Nil.
Now, we are a 360 degree music entertainment company.
Now, we produce, release, publish and manage.
We are, in alphabetical and height order :
- Paul Dackombe : Head of publishing, business affairs and filthy lucre
- Graeme Oxby : Head of A & R, artist liaison, sound + vision production and sandbagger
- Nigel Proktor : Head of stuff, press + promotion, project management and chief bottle washer
